Construction Superintendent

Construction Superintendent

Duties:

  • Executes construction schedule by coordinating and managing all sub-contractor labor
  • Oversees day to day construction activities, onsite shipping and receiving, along with ongoing safety and quality inspections
  • Communicates daily with project managers, project design teams, architects, clients, and building inspectors
  • Responsible for holding weekly onsite health and safety meetings, promoting an accident free work site 
  • Daily submission of project status reports and daily job site photos, along with weekly status updates

Requirements:

  • Ability to read blue prints and specifications
  • Knowledge of MEP building systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft office

Preferred:

  • 5 years or relevant construction experience
Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator

Duties:

  • Prepares & set up project files for jobs
  • Obtains city, county, mall & landlord requirements for each project
  • Solicits subcontractors and collects subcontractor bids
  • Generates & tracks subcontractor purchase order agreements
  • Collects & tracks subcontractor insurance certificates and W-9’s
  • Completes Notices of Commencements when required by state
  • Prepares project documentation for each job including sub lists, closeout letters, etc.
  • Other misc. administrative-duties as assigned by the Project Managers and Vice President

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Technologically Advanced
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and efficient
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task with various issues and projects at one time Highly motivated, resourceful and a self-starter
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Relevant construction experience and/or bachelor’s degree are desired, but not required
Project Manager

Project Manager

Duties:

  • Manages construction projects from start to finish
  • Prepares estimates from blueprints and send bid proposals to clients
  • Works with clients, architects, landlords and building departments on project design, license and permitting
  • Qualifies subcontractor bids and handles subcontractor negotiations
  • Creates construction schedules for projects to send to the client
  • Supervises field superintendents and subcontractors
  • Coordinates and schedules subcontractors and deliveries of materials to projects
  • Reviews field superintendents’ daily and weekly reports, site logs, and site photos
  • Initiates Purchase Order Requests for subcontractors & approves draw payment requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software
  • Occasional travel
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and efficient, along with ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects
  • Highly motivated, resourceful self-starter with excellent communication & interpersonal skills
